ticket sales start for BookMarks on September 24

Join us for an amazing evening with Paula Mclain, author of The Paris Wife, for the third annual BookMarks/Marion Public Library fundraiser.  The evening begins with Paula speaking and reading from one of her latest books.  She will also do a book signing afterwards (the number of books she will sign per person may be limited).

All of this event is to support the operations and programs of the Marion Public Library and hosted by the BookMarks, a support group for the Library and the Marion Public Library.

Our general admission ticket is $40 and includes the lecture and book signing, desserts, beverages, cash bar and musical entertainment by The String Connection.  These tickets are available by pre-purchase or at the door.

Our exclusive social hour event with the author ticket is before the main event.  It is a very limited ticket and is $75/person or $125/2 people.  There will be heavy appetizers, a cash bar and Paula will be mingling with these ticket holders in the room. It includes the general admission event also.  We will not be selling these tickets at the door and they sell out quickly.

You can buy copies of some of her books at the event. Barnes and Noble will be selling the books at the event, taking cash or credit cards. Profits from these sales go again to support the Marion Public Library.

Tickets will be on sale at the library's front desk and  the BookMarket (cash, check and credit cards accepted) or here at Registration. Payment must be received before the event for social hour tickets. Tickets will be given to you at the desks or saved at a Will Call, if purchased online. To register and pay online click on the Register button to the bottom left.
